What I can help with?

Chiropractic care can be helpful for a range of musculoskeletal problems, particularly those affecting the spine, joints and muscles.
I work with people experiencing pain, stiffness or changes in movement and function, whether these have developed gradually, or following an injury or change in activity.
Although you may come to me because of a particular symptom, I'll also want to understand how it's affecting your everyday life, what you've already tried and what you'd like to get back to doing. This helps us consider your care in the context of your individual needs and goals.
Some of the things I commonly work with?
Back pain
Lower, mid or upper back pain, including pain that affects movement, activity or everyday life.
Sciatica
Pain that travels from the lower back into the buttock and leg. I can assess your symptoms and movement to help understand what may be contributing to them and whether chiropractic care is appropriate.
Neck pain
Neck pain and stiffness, including symptoms associated with posture, work, activity or changes in movement.
Headaches
Some types of headache can be associated with the neck and musculoskeletal system. Where appropriate, I can assess whether this may be contributing to your symptoms.
Joint & muscle problems
Pain, stiffness or changes in function affecting areas such as the shoulders, hips, knees and other joints.
Sports & activity-related problems
Musculoskeletal problems that develop through exercise, sport, increased activity or changes in training.
Movement & function
Sometimes the main issue isn't simply pain. You may notice stiffness, reduced movement, weakness or that your body isn't moving as comfortably as it used to.
Pregnancy-related back pain
Back and pelvic pain that can develop or change during pregnancy, including discomfort that affects movement, sleep or everyday activities. I can assess your symptoms and provide appropriate, pregnancy-aware care where chiropractic treatment is suitable.

Your symptoms don't always tell the whole story...
Pain and physical symptoms can be influenced by many different factors. Sometimes the area that hurts isn't the only thing that needs to be considered.
That's why I look at the bigger picture — including your movement, physical function, history and what you're experiencing — rather than simply focusing on where it hurts.
